Arnis J. Davidsons

Arnis J. Davidsons, of Martin, passed away on April 18, 2019. Arnis was born on April 9, 1957 to Ilmars & Elita (Strahls) Davidsons. Visit with his family and friends on Wednesday, April 24 from 11:00 to 12:00 for an informal Celebration of Life at the McCowen & Secord Funeral Home Marshall & Gren Chapel; 120 S. Woodhams St. Plainwell, MI 49080. A graveside committal service will be held at South Martin Cemetery at 12:15 p.m. also on Wednesday. Friends with bikes that want to participate in his last ride can meet at the funeral home. Arnis graduated from Martin High School in 1975 where he was in the high school band. He enjoyed model cars, classic cars and riding motorcycles. His pet cats and dogs were his constant companions. Arnis is survived by his children: Levi Davidsons, Jonus Davidsons, Izak Davidsons, Ivan (Jamie) Davidsons and their mother Erika Smith; daughter in law, Amber Davidsons: His companion of 17 years, Kim Horton; grandchildren: Justin, Owen and Aurora; his mother Elita Davidsons; his siblings: John Davidsons and Lolita (Chris) Lemmer and a nephew Tony Lemmer. He was preceded in death by his father, Ilmars. Arnis was affiliated with the Libertarian party for several years where he held various positions and started several chapters.
