Barbara Strobridge

Barbara Strobridge passed away on March 6, 2020. Barbara was born July 25, 1920 to Floyd and Neva (Brooks) Aldrich. She is survived by her children: Barbara Jean Brown, Alice (Tony) Hoitinga, Pauline (Dan) Sturman, and Roger (Sandy) Strobridge: 12 grandchildren: 27 great grandchildren: and 19 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents: siblings; June VanIngen and Larry Aldrich: her husband; Paul Strobridge: son in law Bernard P. Brown: and granddaughter Kelly Ann Strobridge. Barbara graduated from Martin Agricultural School in 1938 and the following year was wed to Paul Strobridge. In her earlier years she enjoyed dancing, golfing, camping, fish fry’s, crocheting, and playing cards. She and Paul spent 26 winters in Arizona before Paul passed. Cremation has taken place per Barbara’s wishes. Burial will take place at East Martin Cemetery at a later date.
