Bruce Hedges

Bruce W. Hedges, of Fulton passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the age of 62. Bruce was the son of Chester and Ellen (Wright) Hedges. He was born on April 30, 1958 in Allegan. Bruce went through the Allegan and Otsego schools. On May 20, 1975 he married Sue Leonard, and together they raised two children. He enjoyed riding his Harley and spending time with his family and friends. He could always be seen at his grandchildren’s sporting events being their biggest fan. For 15 years he owned B&S Auto in Vicksburg. His family will remember him as being quite the character, strong-willed, and having a heart of gold. Bruce is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sue; two children: Mike (Melisa) Leonard, of Vicksburg; Melissa Yant, of Fulton; two grandchildren: Cody Leonard and Brandin Yant; three siblings: Donna (Mike) O’Connell, of Allegan; Dave Hedges, Jr, of Plainwell; and Donnie (Clara) Hedges, of Allegan; and several nieces and nephews. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, David Hedges Sr. and Ellen Hedges; and two brothers: Chuck and Terry Stratton. Bruce is being cremated and no services are planned at this time.
