Davyd Ross Swanson

Davyd Swanson, age 61, of Plainwell, passed away suddenly on February 1, 2020. Dave was born on March 22, 1958 to Willis & Mary (Deschaine) Swanson. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering is being planned for spring or early summer. Dave’s family includes his wife of 36 years, Deb; his children: Bill (Jessica) Swanson, Erik (Kelsey) Swanson and Kelly (Brian) Bachman; two grandchildren: Kale and William; his siblings: Dana (Shirley) Swanson and Drew (Debra) Swanson as well as several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his two furry children: Chico and Mako. He was preceded in death by his parents. Dave held a lifelong passion for aviation. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force and worked as an air traffic controller for over 30 years. He enjoyed bowling and was the grill master when it came to BBQ.
