Janet Butcher

Janet Butcher, of Portage, MI passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021, at the age of 66. She was born on January 18, 1955 in Joliet, IL the daughter of Fred and Alberta (Windham) Stone. Janet worked for many years at General Motors. Janet loved to craft, play bingo, and loved karaoke. Janet is survived by her husband of 19 years, Michael Butcher; children, Melanie (Scott) Newell, Eric Kelley, and Jennifer (Jeff) Warn; grandchildren, Keri Newell, Brian Newell, Ryan Newell, Jadyn Kelley; her fur babies, Jake and Riley; siblings, Freddie Stone, and Deborah Morphew. Janet is preceded in death by her parents; and her sister Barb Gray. Visitation for Janet will be Friday, August 6, 2021 from 10 to 11 am at McCowen & Secord Funeral Homes, 409 S.
