Kim Micheal Coulter

Kim Coulter, of South Haven, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at the age of 60. Kim was born on April 16, 1960 to Mickey & Patricia (Crockett) Coulter. Kim was known for his infectious smile and his ability to turn a tough situation into laughter. He loved sports of all kinds! Golf was his game to play and baseball was his game to watch! He absolutely loved trips to see his Tigers! The hotdogs, the beer, the lights, and the pace of the game provided Kim with delight and a topic of conversation for the following week. Kim was proud to be a 1978 graduate of Lapeer East Senior High and lived in Lapeer most of his life, but recently lived in Coloma and South Haven, Michigan. Kim was a devoted father to his daughter, Grayson. She was the love of his life and brought continual joy! One could feel his pride as he told of Grayson’s trips here and there, schoolwork, and her happy disposition. She was perfect and that made us happy that he had the opportunity to be a parent. He is survived and remembered by daughter, Grayson Coulter, brothers Kevin (Karen) Coulter and Kelly (Rainy) Coulter, nephews, Bobby, Mickey, Alex and Riley, niece, Abby, cousin Chris (Joseph) Henne, and numerous Coulter and Crockett cousins and extended family. The family is planning a celebration of Kim's life later in the summer. Memorials may be made to a GoFundMe account (https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-memory-of-kim-coulter-lapeer-mi) for his daughter Grayson who is living with her maternal grandparents. While visiting Kim's webpage at www.mccowensecord.com please sign the guestbook by lighting a candle, and/or sharing a memory with the family. The family is being assisted by the McCowen & Secord Funeral Home; Rupert-Durham Chapel, 409 South Main Street, Vicksburg, Michigan 49097 (269-649-1697)
