Robert "Bob" Anson

Robert “Bob” Anson passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020. Bob was born on September 20, 1933 to Clark and Cleo (Miller) Anson. Bob is survived by his daughter Lynda (Allen) Ignatoski; his granddaughter Stephanie Ignatoski; his brother Richard (Anne) Anson; his sister Joan (John) Steele well as several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 62 years Mary. Bob was drafted into the Army. He served from January 1954 to December 1955. Bob loved to play city softball and was known as the pitching terror in the 1950’s and 60’s. He had several shutouts and no hitter games. Bob worked for Spartan Grocery stores until he retired in 1995. In retirement, he enjoyed family and helping others. He could build anything out of wood.
