Thomas Krill

Thomas A. Krill, age 67, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away on the weekend of September 27, 2019 at his home in Schoolcraft. He was born September 22, 1952 in Kalamazoo, MI to Frederick and Doris (Haas) Krill. Tom was a 1971 graduate of Loy Norrix High School and had been a resident of the Kalamazoo area all his life. He was the proud owner of the Krill's Korner party store (located in the Edison neighborhood) for over 30 years. Tom enjoyed golfing, fishing, cooking, travelling, playing poker and was an avid coin collector. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who enjoyed spending time with close friends and family. Tom is survived by one son: Casey Krill; two grandchildren: Madison Krill and Oliver Krill; five brothers: Frederick (Cindy) Krill, Charles (Cindy) Krill, Phillip (Sue) Krill, Joseph (Robyn) Krill, James Krill; and two sisters: Janet (James) Carter and Joyce Krill. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Donald Krill. Per his wishes, cremation will take place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 11am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 936 Lake Street, Kalamazoo. followed by a luncheon. A burial of Tom's ashes will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery that same day at 1:45pm.
